Reading Cultural Awards 2018

We’re delighted to announce that we’ve been shortlisted for 2018’s Reading Cultural Awards in the “Business Champion of the Arts” category. We were recognised for our work with the arts, culture, heritage and education.

We’ve continued to push the boundaries to support the arts in Reading, with:

  • an art gallery on a moving double deck bus
  • partnerships with the Arts & Heritage Forum
  • supporting arts events
  • partnering with the Museum of English Rural Life (The MERL) and Reading Museum
  • fun collaborative events with local school, John Madejski Academy.

We feel we’re making a real difference to the arts.

Following the success of Light Up Reading and partnerships with Reading Rep Theatre and John Madejski Academy, it has built on a strong and growing base of supporting and partnering with arts organisations and education.

This is not just a one-off – it’s a growing area of importance to the business.

We’re supporting and partnering with arts organisations to develop the audience for arts and heritage in Reading – giving back to the community we serve every day.

We’re reaching out across the whole community to go above and beyond to promote and support the synergy between arts and business to make Reading a more enriched place to live, play and work.

The winners will be crowned in a glittering ceremony at the Olympia Ballroom, Reading, on June 27 – so, watch this space!
